We started our first full day in San Francisco with a visit to mobile gifting startup Sincerely. After a quick stop at Starbucks and a brief walk through China town, we arrived at their Market Street office. We were welcomed to their 6th floor suite with a delicious lunch and friendly conversation. Sincerely was exactly what I picture when I think of a startup's office. Complete with an exercise area, rock wall, table tennis table, and fully-stocked kitchen, it has everything that an employee could ever need.
Best known for their mobile photo postcard and greeting card apps, they recently launched Sesame, an app that allows users to send themed gift boxes from their mobile phone. This was evident by the mountain of baby blue boxes in the office. Sincerely has over 1.2 million users across all its applications and has shipped products to over 800,000 unique addresses.
We are extremely grateful to Matt Brezina, David Hua, and the rest of the crew at Sincerely for their hospitality.
